6-Step Shop Activation
Already a registered ETow tow operator? Use these steps to activate your physical shop location and start accepting service bookings.
Create Your Driver / Operator Account
If you don't already have an ETow account, sign up as a Tow Operator. Your shop listing lives on your driver profile.
- Click "Sign Up" and choose "Tow Operator / Driver"
- Enter your name, email, phone, and license number
- Verify your email address to activate your account
- Log in to your driver dashboard

Go to Your Profile Settings
Inside your driver dashboard, navigate to your profile to enable shop/location mode.
- Log in to your Driver Dashboard
- Tap the menu icon or your profile photo
- Select "My Profile" or "Edit Profile"
- Scroll down to the "Shop & Location Services" section
💡 The shop section is near the bottom of your profile settings page.
Enable Shop Location
Toggle on "Shop Location Enabled" to activate your physical shop presence on the platform.
- Toggle the "Shop Location Enabled" switch to ON
- Enter your shop's physical street address
- Your shop will appear as a pin on the customer map
- Customers searching near your area will find you
💡 Your shop address is used for map visibility only — customers book online and come to you.
Add Your Shop Services
List the services your shop offers with pricing. Customers will see exactly what you offer and at what price.
- Click "Add Service" in the Shop Services section
- Choose from: Auto Repair, Oil Change, Brake Service, Tire Repair, Window Tinting, Auto Detailing, A/C Service, Transmission
- Set your price for each service
- Add an optional description for each service
- Toggle each service ON to make it visible to customers
💡 You can add as many services as you offer. Each can be individually enabled or disabled anytime.
Offer Free Towing (Optional but Powerful)
Stand out from the competition by offering free towing to your shop when customers book a service.
- On each service, toggle "Free Tow Included" to ON
- Customers with broken-down vehicles can be towed to you for free
- This dramatically increases booking conversions
- You still earn on the service — the tow is your acquisition cost

Save & Go Live
Save your profile and your shop is instantly live. Customers can find and book you right away.
- Click "Save Profile" at the bottom of the settings page
- Your shop appears on the customer booking map immediately
- Customers can browse your services and submit booking requests
- You'll receive push notifications for every new booking
- Manage appointments from your Driver Dashboard
💡 Your shop listing is completely free. No listing fees. You only pay platform commission on completed jobs (waived on Verified Fleet Manager plan).
Shop-Only Signup
Don't have a tow truck? No problem. If you run an auto repair shop, tire shop, detailing center, or any other automotive service business, you can list your shop directly on ETow without a tow vehicle.
Create a Shop-Only Account
Register directly as a shop owner — no tow license or truck required.
- Click the "Sign Up as Shop Owner" button below
- Enter your shop name, your name, email, and phone
- No license number required for shop-only accounts
- Verify your email to activate
💡 Shop-only accounts have the same features as tow operator accounts for shop management — minus the towing.
Set Up Your Shop Profile & Services
Add your shop address, services, and pricing — customers will discover and book you on the ETow map.
- Enter your shop's physical address
- Add services: Oil Change, Tire Repair, Brake Service, Auto Detailing, Window Tinting, A/C, and more
- Set pricing and optional deposits for each service
- Toggle "Free Tow Included" on any service to offer free vehicle pickup to customers (requires linked preferred drivers)
- Every service booking includes an integrated vehicle pickup step — customers can request towing or come in themselves
💡 Adding more services increases your visibility in search results.
Link Preferred Tow Drivers & Earn Commissions
Connect with trusted tow drivers who will handle your free-tow pickups and pay you a referral commission on every job.
- Go to Shop Owner Dashboard → Payout & Commissions → Preferred Drivers
- Invite up to 10 tow drivers by email, or accept incoming link requests from drivers
- Agree on a commission rate (e.g. 10%) — for referred tows, the driver pays you this % as a commission; for free-tow services, you pay the driver at this discounted rate
- Enable "Use Preferred Drivers Only" to ensure only your trusted drivers receive your tow jobs
- Commissions are auto-paid via Stripe the moment a vehicle arrives at your shop — no manual processing
💡 Example: For a referred tow of $100 at 10% commission, the driver pays you $10. For a free-tow service of $100 at 10% commission, you pay the driver $90 (10% discount).
